Born in San Francisco I have always wanted to make some moments stand still. After moving to Seattle and meeting my wife, travel and photography became my new hobby. I am so lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the world where I can hone my craft surrounded by inspiration. The name relates to the mysterious and magical forest in MiddleEarth nestled under the Misty Mountains. It is beautiful, old and dangerous. Which is really what I try to capture in my photography and exercise in my travels.
